Edited on Thu Jul-09-09 12:02 PM by Hulk
That whole "pedophile" thing was blown out of proportion for the benefit of the news media. It was never proved, never even admitted by the boy in question, and it's total bull shit that hangs over MJ's head to this day.

Such insane bull shit. We IGNORE bor's sexual harassment and his vulgar tongue, but we will hold MJ accountable for something that most probably never even occurred during his lifetime. What a shame our media has become.

This pig is a perfect representative for the bigot, racist and f*cked retards that live in his district. Walk proud, you f*cking scum of the earth....walk proud. Oh, don't forget to keep your white robes pressed.

9. PK can not declare MJ a child molester when he was acquitted.
PK should be smart enough to know that he should have, but did not use the "alleged" exemption, before publicly accusing anyone of an illegal act.

MJ and his regally eccentric life was beyond our understanding and so was his planetary showmanship. The drama around his death demanded it's spotlight. It was the nature of his existence that demanded the press.

27. Thank you - I was going to say essentially the same thing; that King
is a lawmaker in this country and yet he finds it acceptable to go outside of the law and accuse someone that has been acquitted of the crime he is speaking of. And he obviously is speaking completely without benefit of the facts of the case - as so many people are and have been doing. I wish people would look at the entire case before they jump on the bandwagon of hate, fueled in part I suspect, by racism.

Americans are so eager to build someone up as some revered icon and even more eager to tear them down. Apparently Michael Jackson’s alleged sexual escapades with young boys has become a part of the American argot and even liberal Americans have come to believe that there must be something there, supposedly because how could so many boys make up stories about him that were so similar if it wasn’t true. And this is as far as most people are willing to delve. No one seems to be interested in the fact that many of the details given by the first boy to accuse Michael, Jordan Chandler, were completely disproved. There is the famous description of MJ’s genitals and Americans believe that this was proof of the accusations. Not many know that the boy declared that MJ was circumcised. He is not. This is sort of a significant mistake and one that a 13-year-old boy would not make if he had, in fact, seen MJ’s penis. The next belief of Americans is that if MJ weren’t guilty, then he most certainly wouldn’t have paid the boy and his family 20+ million dollars. What no one seems to know or cares to know is that MJ and his lawyers didn’t want to pay the accusers, but his insurance carrier talked them into it saying it would be better than a long drawn out court case. There were also tapes of the boy’s father speaking to another man saying that he was going to ruin Michael and he was going to ‘get everything he wanted’. And now comes the internet rumor (and of course it must be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism) that the boy, now a young man of 27 is about to come forward with the revelation that his father made him lie about the molestation for money – what a surprise! I believe people see a perfect target in Michael – he is obviously an incredibly rich target, he does have a singular attraction for children (most likely a remnant of his stolen childhood) that can be twisted into something perverse and he is already suspect in the eyes of Americans because of his curious behaviors over the years – wanting to buy the elephant man’s bones, raising a chimp as a child, etc, etc. He is the perfect mark, especially if you are willing to exploit your children for financial gain.
The second round of accusations are equally suspect, but no one has taken the time to look into them – Michael must be guilty because didn’t he pay off some kid several years ago. He just has to be guilty, doesn’t he, because as we have heard from experts in this arena, i.e. men and women from the religious right, grown men cannot love children, cuddle them, hug them and yes, even sleep with them (on the floor BTW) without something going on. Certainly MJ is eccentric, but can’t we allow for the possibility that he just loved children without bringing in the sexual component. I love children too, but I am a gay man and as such, I find myself being extra careful around children of friends and especially acquaintances. I’ve seen too many of the shows, Witch Hunt being the latest, about people whose lives are ruined by over zealous parents, teachers, social workers, prosecutors, the clergy. I think because of my particular vantage point, I look at things with a more cautious eye and really look into something before I am willing to say, ‘J'accuse’.

36. Right, and he cannot say that OJ killed two people, either
but we all know what we know. Lawyers are there to make sure that facts are only a mere obstacle on the way to the result.

I have a feeling that we're going to see a lot more of the truth pouring out now that MJ is dead. We didn't find out about JFK's "sleepovers" until after he had passed, things have a way of coming out after the subject matter of the story cannot retaliate.

47. My point is that the law must be observed esp. by law makers.
OJ could still be guilty, but we are not allowed, by law, to publicly state that as a fact. Or we can not state,as fact,in public, that MJ did this act, after he was acquitted.

Unless of course, PK has proof that MJ is guilty, and PK is prepared to present that proof.

PK has opened himself to prosecution for defaming a man, who no doubt lived his life differently than most of us,but that is not reason enough to accuse anyone in public of these lewd acts.

PK's statements are for now unfounded rumors. He is recklessly doing harm to an otherwise uplifting character with genius talents.

Michael Jackson Conspiracy

Product Description
He was the pop icon the media loved to hate. Tremendously wealthy, inarguably eccentric, and one of the most famous people in the world, Michael Jackson was the unenviable target of constant public humiliation. The media poked fun at his skin, his features, his sexuality, and his lifestyle. Here, seasoned crime reporter Aphrodite Jones condemns the media for perpetuating hateful rumors and innuendoes, recounting just the sordid details, and reporting only the most despicable accusations and grisly charges made against Michael Jackson during his criminal trial. They had built a highly profitable industry around the superstar's "freaky life" and banked on his conviction. And, it turns out, they got it all wrong. In their efforts to make money and win ratings, the media missed the truth. It wasn't until after the "not guilty" verdict that Jones had the insight and courage to admit her own unintentional role in the frenzy surrounding the shocking testimony, high drama, and countless celebrities in Michael Jackson's high-profile criminal trial. Here, she makes amends with what is not only a truthful, well-documented chronicle of the entire trial but a powerful indictment against the media for conspiring to distort, dehumanize, and destroy Michael Jackson. Jones argues convincingly that the case against Jackson amounted to nothing more than a media-made, tax-paid scandal, and she makes an impassioned call to action for the public-at-large to think critically, question the integrity, and demand the truth in "the news". --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Peter King doesn't get it. Sometimes music is all that people have and Michael Jackson was an extraordinary medium who gave that gift to people.

(As I said in another post) Peter King is an old white guy afraid of losing his flagrant position of power, fearful of the 21st century and what he doesn't understand. Damn him and I hope this is his unseating.

20. Both Peter King and Bill O'Reilly are complete douchbags
But the deification of a guy that settled a civil case out of court for 22 million dollars on allegations of child molestation, the alleged victim a cancer survivor, described MJ's genitalia to LAPD investigators and was leaked to the media that they matched the photos they had of his genitalia. You are innocent until proven guilty and MJ was acquited and that should obviously be taken into consideration. But should we accept that OJ Simpson didn't commit double murder and Robert Blake had nothing to do with his wifes murder because a California jury of his peers came to the same conclusion. I am sure DU will be just as forgiving on the day OJ Simpson dies because he was a great pro and college athlete, he broke racial barriers in the 60's and 70's, and was one of the first high profile African-American athletes to be used in advertising. So I will remember the disgusting display of hero worship bestowed on Michael Jackson when OJ Simpson dies.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvnEe6n2MW4

Watch a clip here from Alexandra Pelosi's HBO film "Diary of a Political Tourist"](yes Nancy's Daughter) catches a tipsy Congressman Peter King making a comment at a White House function before the election had even been started declaring that, "It's already over. The Election's over. We Won."

When Pelosi asks, "How do you know that?" King replies, "It's all over but the counting. And we'll take care of the counting."
This was recorded in he summer of 2003 a year before the 2004 election

What's in his background that causes him to make such outrageous comments? Methinks the Congressman has been a little to close to the pages. Just because he hasn't been caught doesn't mean he hasn't had his way with young boys. Will the Congressman state that he hasn't buggered young boys in the closets of Congress?
Some people are saying Peter King is hiding something very dark and sinister. Fox News and the American people want to know.

39. How do we know Peter King isn't a Pedophile?
After all he's the guy that can't think of anything else to do in a bed with a child than have sex. His freudian slips are very revealing. As we all know. When it comes to pedophiles you can never be too safe or suspicious. Perhaps we should place King on trial. So what if we don't have a victim.......yet. At worst he'll be acquitted and go through life wearing the label of the Pervert that got away with molesting children. It'll destroy him. But it's no skin of our asses. That's all that really matters. So what if we have to pervert our justice system to protect his future victims from his sick psyche. If that's what it takes to keep Peter the Pervert out of a bed with a child where he won't able to think of anything else to do other than having sex with that child. Then that's what we must do. It's all for the Children!
