But when did Jesus become God? In the Christian teachings, it is God the Father who judges, not the Son. But then I wasn't raised Baptist, so maybe that is why I don't understand.

Edited to add: I bet most conservatives see Judge Sotomayor and say "Mexican" when her heritage is Puerto Rican. Bet they also don't understand that Puerto Rico is part of the US.
