1. Colin Powell destroyed his own credibility, he knew before he made
....his presentation that the intelligence was flawed, inaccurate and perhaps even made up. But he went ahead and made the presentation anyway, and just to make sure he would not back away from his responsibility as Bush/Cheney had ordered him to do over national TV just a few days before when it was announced that Colin Powell would be "making the situation in Iraq very clear", behind Colin Powell sat CIA Director George Tenet and at that time I'm not sure what John Negroponte's official position was, probably unofficially Bush's hit-man, but Negroponte was also sitting and watching ever body movement Powell made!

It is so obvious from both the original images of Powell's UN speech and the video with Tim Russert, that Powell fears for his life. Colin Powell's life was in danger back when he gave his UN speech and probably still is in danger now as the Bush crime family keeps its iron fist around the throats of all of its republican henchmen.

5. Cred?? Colon?!

Try searching WWW for "Colin Powell" AND "Mei Lei"

As then Col (or was it LTC) Powell he first came to the attention of The Rulers by attempting to keep a lid on Mei Lei. He failed, but he was noted as a loyalist.

Mei Lei? Rings no bells??

"Those who do not remember history are condemed to repeat it." (NB)

As we are now in the Middle East

God Bless America

(NB) and, sadly, are also doomed to have to keep reading this quotation from George Santayana. Caution, do not confuse George with Carlos Santana, who said, "Is that C?”

2. Fears for his life...
Why do Russert?
He's trying to set the record straight & clear his name... Not sure it's possible?
So basically he & Hillary feel the same way?
Hilarious stuff..

4. Cheney
as far as i'm concerned. Scooter Libby wrote Powell's speech for the UN presentation. We wouldn't have even known who Scooter Libby was if it weren't for Plamegate. Cheney will throw his whole pack of assistants under the bus to stay out of trouble. And when and if he ever gets into TROUBLE I say go for his wallet. Put him away but clean out his stock portfolio as Warprofiteering ill-gotten bootie.

7. I believe Colin Powell is an honorable man who was misled and at a crucial moment
had a tragic shortcoming of good judgment. Perhaps he was just too trusting a person.
