It's shameful that we treat our fellow countrymen this way. Funny how you never hear about people like the ones in the clip when they're talking about how good health care is on Fox "News".

While they gut out the hassle of being limited to specific formularies, or tethered to constant interaction with insurance companies for reimbursement, Doctor are very unhappy with their carrer, yet have no other choice than to go along with the system, or find another career to pay for their education.

As a Software Engineer who saw his profession of 20 Year disappear in the DotCom Bubble, followed by the death blow from Enron and the California Energy crisis, I know how they must feel. While my field of expertise was shipped off overseas, I guess I was fortunate to have no other choice than weigh the benefits of either staying in the work force, or trying to determine how it had been corrupted over the years.

Doctors however, will always be needed. You can't outsource doctors, as they need to be physically present in order to treat patients. It is also a growth industry that depends on people being ill.

I have no doubt that the Health "Care" Industry, with it's obscene money flows, is intricately tied to Big Oil, Big Ag, Big PHRMA, and Government to know that continued Pollution, GMO and industrialized food, and Pharmaceuticals are bad for your health, and they are enmeshed in a positive feedback loop, enriching themselves by both creating disease, and then superficially treating the systems while deftly avoiding the real cause in the first place.

They have infested the Government to the point where an Individual is guilty of a crime for pursuing alternative treatments for themselves or their loved ones, and new treatments are ensnared in expensive, convoluted tests for efficacy, while Big Pharma is able to pay off the key regulators, select from their quiver of paid scientists to provide select, positive results which are then cobbled together by Lawyers who redact any negative results that may have been discovered.

We have a corruption of Science in America. People are not taught basic chemistry, or that the adding of one Hydrogen molecule to a Water Molecule forms Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O + H) = H2O2, which can be used as a component in rocket fuel, and in purified quanities, generally burn the skin off your bones. Just ONE atom can make a big difference in our lives, but Big Corporate interests would rather not let you know that this also applies to the Fats and Oils that they use in our food supply. Or the fact that altered GMO food plants can produc misfolder proteins that can be toxic, non nutritive, or be new allergens simply because of a missing molecular bond, or extra atom in the protein.

They make rice that produces Human Serum Albumin for christ sakes. Does nobody put together the fact that Bacteria or Viruses in a Rice field could adapt to consuming this protein outside the Human Body? How far are these monsters disconnected from life to be able to think in these terms without having severe ethical conflicts?

It's simple. Humans are nothing more than machines. Life is nothing more than a machine to be modified, patented, and produced in Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. Keep them alive until they reach marketability, and then sell the sick and diseased animal for profit. If the Corporation can do this with animals, it's won't be long until they apply this to humans as well.

They do it for our food plants, which are totally dependant on unnatural inputs to even grow in our depleted soils anymore.

They have created Green Deserts in the midwest
They have created the equivalent of Auschwitz for our food animals in the CAFO's
They have poisoned our water and environment for years with Chlorine, Sodium Fluoride, Pesticides, Herbicides, and now, pharmaceutical chemicals.
They have poisoned out air, nonstop for decades.
They have removed alternatives to the automobile to force a certian consumption pattern
They have removed thousands of Heirloom seeds from the market in order to promote patented GMO life, based upon centuries of hand selection
They have turned food into another industrial product, Soylent Green if you will.
They have succeeded in removing the individuals connection to the Earth, allowing this crime to continue.
Doctors are stuck in a system that has been transformed into an industrialized system with the motive based on Profit and maximum return. They don't like it, but have no other choices.

Life is an interconnected web. The Corporation works hard to disavow the connection or externalities of their profit machine, and when they succeed, we pay for the mess they leave.

1--Did ya see the look on this Helmsley's face as he sipped some water before he lied about keeping his clients healthy at all cost?

What a face of no affect. . .robotic. . .poker-faced. . . sociopathic. . . .grab-the-money-and run. . .see-if-you-can-catch-me-lying murderer.

2--And, no doubt AT ALL, Helmsley is spending some of his "insane salary" on the FAKE TOWN HALL PROTESTERS against public option AND to all Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats to block health care reform.

If I could, I would drop United "Health"care in an instant.

It would seem that they stand to gain by removing the excessive cost that the companies pay as well.

Silence from all the non-health care related corporate giants speaks volumes. It's all an insider's club. Everyone wants to make the obscene money.

Imagine if health care was no longer tied to your employer and they did not have to pay for it.


You would think they would all jump on the bandwagon..instead silence. Why?

Only reason I can think of is that the big companies would rather have the burden as it helps keep the small businesses small rather then growing and becoming competition to them.
