2. Is Bob Inglis a relatively sane Republican?
Good to hear him take on Beck. Inglis has also talked about how a senior who confronted him about "government health care" had no idea that Medicare was a government program.

Amazing stuff... This, folks, is the filthy underbelly of the American polity (i.e. today's GOP), exposed for all to see.

14. Too much race baiting here

While I agree there are plenty of racists assholes in the Republican Party, these people would be doing the same thing to Kerry had he been elected. Anyone remember the beating Clinton took?

It's not race people, it's politics. They love LOVE black Republicans, because they want to get some of the black voting block (or more of it).

These people HATE Liberals. They hate a middle aged White Liberal MUCH worse than a right-wing black. Sure, racism is still alive, but that DOES NOT explain these people...they are honestly scared the Democratic Party is going to take their guns, kill kids (not in wars of course), and erect a big government ediface not unlike the former Soviet Union. They are paranoid and batshit insane, but the color of Obama is a very minor part of what makes these people tick.

Trust me, I know...Long time ago I used to be one.

5. I like that sign "Adult Education"
That message is wasted on these folks. They are anti-vaccine, anti-stimulus, anti-healthcare reform, anti-education, anti-intelligence. I hope you like what your Party has become...ride that beast, but if you let go the reins, you'll get trampled by this stampede of stupid.

8. Let's just be done with it
and give the Confederacy to the Republicans and their web footed inbred followers. They can worship bigotry and ignorance without monetary help from the rest of us. It's about time reconstruction ended.

Inglis: I voted for and support replacing old light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs after they burn out in federal buildings

Audience: Boo

Man, that is sad. You can tell Inglis is somewhat lucid and intelligent, so I feel sorry for him having to pander to those people. These morons think the first amendment means nobody can disagree with them and don't even know that medicare is government healthcare. How can you reach old age and still be that stupid? You have 50+ years to educate yourself, there is no excuse at that point.

The Old South

The two parts that absolutely floored me -- the entire crowd booing for legislation mandating energy efficient light bulbs be installed in federal buildings and one guy standing up saying that people he knows are talking about a revolution every week. Because, you know, we can't stand for government tyranny by potentially reducing energy use costs because that would infringe on our liberty. :sarcasm: Also, here's a hint asshole -- the President was sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. That includes quelling any rebellion that would potentially destroy the Union.

Kinda like what Honest Abe did to you jackasses around, say, 1865. You're 0-1.

until the end of the video. On the other hand his constituents are a bunch of dumb, undereducated, superstitious idiots!

16. The edit is deceptive
First time I've seen Bob Inglis. He's bright. He's articulate. He's patient with the crowd.

This edit is attempting to portray Bob as terrible. To me, at least from this video, he looks to be one of the few sane republicans.
