Summary: Cenk plays and breaks down two clips of Rush Limbaugh. The first clip is Rush's laughable attempt to pretend that president Obama is the one creating astroturf (i.e. artificial movements meant to appear grassroots). The second clip gets more into comparing Dems to Nazis. Cenk makes a great distinction between genuine mobilizing of supporters and corporate funded efforts. What a horrible, horrible, man. Even though he admits he is a water-carrier, people will take this seriously.

I am constantly amazed at the stupidity. It isn't ignorance. People like these know they are full of shit, and are stirring up the pot with potentially violent effects. Then they simply project their own behavior.

I got one of those emails, and I damn well signed up. The difference here is I am not going to town hall meetings to protest, but to SUPPORT. Fuck him, and fuck the people that listen to him. Looking forward to meeting these idiots.

Y'see, logic is of no use here. It's like religion or racism. It's all emotional and therefore logic is thrown from the train.

And the projection is colossal! Obama rules by dictate? But George and Dick were the soul of Democracy?

But they can't see it because they are in this emotional haze. The emotions are panic and hate. They can't stand their ideas didn't work and they're rein was a complete and utter failure. Someone's always out to get them and destroy their way of life... whatever that means.

And of course Rush is high as a kite and just riffing on some crap his research team handed him 5 minutes ago. Then Boss Limbaugh will stagger home, pop some more pills. light up an illegal Cuban Commie cigar and laugh all the way to the bank. Somehow, his contempt for his audience comes thru. I don't listen to him (god forbid!) but in all the clips I get on here, I can hear his contempt for those stupid enough to listen to him. It's his ego that come thru the airwaves more than anything.
