This is a war, people. And war ain't pretty. But if you want to win, you have to do whatever is necessary.

After things are fixed and the US becomes a democracy instead of a oligarchy, we can restore full freedom. But in the current "emergency" situation, extraordinary methods are necessary.

e.g., in peacetime, would people rise up against forced military conscription? But in war, it is acknowledged to be necessary. Same thing.
