Does my VOTE not count, just because certain people SHOUT louder than me at townhalls?
These people misrepresent everything.
No one is trying to keep them from talking, we just want them to be civil, and wait their turn to talk.
But ultimately, I don't think people should always have to give up what they VOTED for if a few people decide to yell about it at townhalls. That will kill democracy entirely. The people who scream the loudest will then decide what we do in this country. How civilized would that be?
You know, ultimately, maybe it is a stupid idea to have townhalls, because if the mjaority of America elected these people to do things a certain way, then it shouldnt matter what people at townhalls say. But then again, people at townhalls could be suggesting chnages to the bill itself, and simply voicing concerns, instead of saying "LISTEN TO ME! DO WHAT I WANT! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY LIFE!"
That is fucking MOB RULE.
