This video sums up my feelings about the job that the Republicans have done in convincing far too many people that reforming health care in this country boils down to their grandmother being sent before a death panel to decide her fate, among other issues. It's disgusting how we refuse to adopt the health care systems of other countries, but stick with the same old broken system because it generates profit out of human suffering.

9. For some reason, people are more likely to...
...believe absolute tripe than they are to swallow the truth. I see it all the time in my classroom...my kids believe absolute swill, but won't swallow the actual facts.
