5. DUH...although, they're kind of contradicting themselves...
...the first comment about it being an inside agreement between the Obama admin and the insurance companies (as in bought and paid for)--check, got it, more than obvious.

But then they go on to comment "it doesn't make sense...why are they trying to appease the repubs, etc"...when they've already stated it's a dog and pony--and that it's obvious that Obama needs a straw man--someone or something that, gosh darn it, won't allow him to push through what he had "hoped" for...not to mention, what the majority of the American people (and voters) want.

...Oh, yeah...there's alway "hope"...let's just keep "hoping" that Obama will not continue to be bought and paid for by his corporate sponsors.

7. Sure it makes sense. They know the truth but they hope they're wrong.

11. I'll take the health care and housing rather than the word "hope", thank you.
As if we couldn't see through that transparent word right from the beginning.

There should be a national poll, asking how many people feel more hopeful now.

4. How Sad ..... I'll be done voting Dem if they abandon public option
Talk about spineless! ,....

If they drop the public option, I'm sorry, I find this inexcusable. I won't be voting Democrat the next time around. I feel very USED right now.

10. Hell with all of them. The people, the majority must stnad for the public option
otherwise there is no reform and in the future it will mean that corporations and special interests will always get what they want over the good of the people because dollars mean more than people/

"...In his strongest indictment of the tide of fascism the Vice President of the United States saw rising in America, he added:
“They claim to be super-patriots, but they would destroy every liberty guaranteed by the Constitution. They demand free enterprise, but are the spokesmen for monopoly and vested interest. Their final objective toward which all their deceit is directed is to capture political power so that, using the power of the state and the power of the market simultaneously, they may keep the common man in eternal subjection.”
Finally, Wallace said, “The myth of fascist efficiency has deluded many people. … Democracy, to crush fascism internally, must…develop the ability to keep people fully employed and at the same time balance the budget. It must put human beings first and dollars second. It must appeal to reason and decency and not to violence and deceit. We must not tolerate oppressive government or industrial oligarchy in the form of monopolies and cartels.”

It's happening all over again.
