Great speech by Jeff Bridges playing the role President Jackson Evans in support of his Vice President nominee Sen. Laine Hanson in The Contender.

I'd love to see Obama give a speech like this to a joint session of Congress on health care.

1. That clip is an inspiration and sadly shows how sick our congress is. Look at Grassley

who admitted that he is just playing politics and said about health care " I am working for the republican party".
