Keith spells it out and has a discussion about where the WH has been going wrong with Newsweek's Howard Fineman.

Ed's take on the "Left of the Left" thing was good, too. As was Dennis's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGgq7G_a9jk

1. Where would we be
without Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow!?

2. I was thinking that last night.
Her reporting is outstanding. True journalistic excellence. And Keith's voice is commanding and powerful.

I applaud their courage in standing up for this principle. They've got it made personally. And yet they are fighting for health care for others, with tenacity and all the skill they can command and at some personal risk.

Kudos to MSNBC for allowing them to do this, too.

3. Where would the WH advisers be without "the left of the left" votes?
Where they want to go back as soon as possible (without having to resign or be fired by the President)?

How can they ignore 57% of us (and "name-call" us this way)?

It is pissing me off lately, too. I want a Progressive Party! I am so sick of working so hard to get these people elected only to be thrown under the bus when push comes to shove.

5. Also...
The White House and some Dems are throwing us under the bus to safeguard industry largesse for their own coffers. They are trying to make those of us who want a public option (or are willing to compromise on a public option instead of single payer) look like radical leftists now. They never really wanted a public option in the first place.

We need campaign finance reform and a new, Progressive Party.
