1. Let me see....
Yes and uh.. yes.

Of course the Republicans are misinformed because they watch the FOX Propaganda (News) Network. FOX is not their to inform it is there to indoctrinate and influence. Why do you think Roger Ailes runs it.

As far as the Democrats going it alone Madow was pointing out on her show that one of the new memes from the Repugs is that to be 'bipartisan' the health reform bill needs to pass with 75 or 80 votes in the Senate. As she also pointed out it only takes 51 votes to pass a bill unless you let the Republicans get away with filibustering (please, please Democrats if they do call them on it make them filibuster forever). The Republicans have shown over and over that their singular focus here is to give President Obama a big defeat on his agenda early in his Presidency so that he will be ineffective in doing anything big for the rest the time he is in there and of course they would also use it in 2012 to claim that the Democrats can't and don't get anything done.

2. Web of Deceit
What a terrible web we weave when we practice to deceive.
Fox will do and say whatever it takes to keep the Republicans happy.

3. I just told two people I know on Facebook
to turn off right wing propaganda.

"We have a difference of opinion" - them

"Uh... no, you have been listening to propaganda" - me

5. Fox is deleted
Comcast, Direct TV and Dish Network don't have MSNBC in my State. I have Time Warner. Don't like it
but that's just the way it is. I can see why FOX has so many viewers. Will they admit that's
part of the reason they have so many viewers? I doubt it.

6. The BIG question
Is not that Republicans and their wing are uninformed - we already knew this given the many representatives we see from that side of the aisle (and Blue Dog Democrats for that matter) are creationists and global warming denyers to mention just a few of the many head in the sand issues where rationalism is ignored and ignorance is condoned.

The question is, why, given significant majorities in the house and senate and control of the executive branch, does the President and other continue to molly coddle this faction. REALLY, THIS IS THE ISSUE

What I have come up with is this.

There is no real, deep-seated desire for reform - the Democratic Party (less the progressive caucuses) is only giving lip-service to the progressive/reform discourse in order to quiet the masses. There is no walking the talk.
