No one has to die in the street because they don't have the right health insurance...

No one should have to sell their home to get health care...

Dental care is not covered. Subsidized to a degree - but far from covered. Which I still think is idiotic.

The way he uses the loooooooong pauses after 3 words as if he's speaking to a 4 year old is really annoying
and offensive. to me. couldn't watch more than a minute.

I'm sure some town hall disrupters wouldn't get it the first time and would need to have it repeated.

And considering those protesters; at the town hall meetings believing their mob action of preventing communication between the people and their elected representative leaders was free speech while in reality they were basically protesting against free speech, this was most apropos.

is: Conservative World View and Liberal World View seem to be
polar opposites.

One tiny point: Republicans have their backs up just because
Obama dares mention Morality in association with Heath Care.

We are NOT our brothers' keeper versus we are our brothers' keeper.
It boils down to this. The GOP believes in Rugged Individualism,
therefore telling people to contribute a little so everyone can
be covered with Insurance goes against everything they believe.

It is just as hard for Liberals to try to understand people would
not be willing to make it possible for everyone to get on the
boat.

Starting with world views that are polar opposite and strongly held
makes for difficult compromise.

As much as we hated it when GWB rammed through conservative policies,
he understood that compromise is nearly impossible, so he pushed
through his belief system.

So far it does not appear the Dems are organized and are willing
to move on their world view.

Believe that it was some railroad maggot from the late 19th Century that coined the phrase, 'Whatever is not nailed down is mine...whatever I can pry loose is not nailed down'. That fits these bastards to a 'T' today. and find it really strange to hear about "socialized" medicine. As if healtcare was not a right regardless of political affiliation.
