1. I saw that on MSNBC when it happened. McCain said something the teabaggers didn't like.
He pissed them off and they loudly booed him and he basically told them off. Good for him for standing up to them and gaining control of his meeting again.

The teabaggers and deathers and birthers are rude, violent assholes.

2. They think Obama is violating the Constitution
not because of anything he's actually done, and not for anything that's actually written in the Constitution, but because they lost to a black man who happens to be a Democrat.

Under their Constitution, only Republicans win & only white people are in control.

4. At least McCain stood up to them
Edited on Wed Aug-26-09 09:45 AM by Juche
Where were those people when Bush was president? Its obvious most of those people have never read the constitution, and could care less. To them 'violating the constitution' is code for 'a black liberal is president'.

I hope independents see how dangerously stupid the GOP has become.

6. McCain invited those people over when he picked dumbo as a running mate.
Now that they are there they won't go away.

I doubt that she would get any boohs from them.

7. Against the Constitution!
Amendment # 666

The President, if African American or half African American and a Democrat, shall not get by with all this money.

There it is! In half black and half white!

9. Cenk: "I don't like this development. The Democrats need a challenge!"
I've been thinking that for a long time. And now somebody is actually saying it. Why hasn't any liberal in the media, beside Bill Maher, made this point yet?

Give this man his own tv show. Seriously.

11. I thought the problem was the Democrats were facing too MANY challenges.
You know, the "liberal" media that's too scared to look, y'know... liberal?

A Republican majority in the House and Senate that we just finally managed to kick over back in '06?

Oh, yeah, and wasn't there something about getting a Democrat into... what was it, now, I was just thinking... the White House???

Seriously, the last think we need is more challenge. What we need is a crop o' Congresscritters who'll stand up and grow a God-damned SPINE!

Or at least, use the one they got against someone besides their own constituents.

14. You're not even trying to get Cenk's point.
What has happened with Democrats and Republicans? To paraphrase Bill Maher: the Democrats have moved to the right, and the right has moved into a mental hospital. The Democratic party is a good party for lobbyists, credit card companies, bankers, hedge funds and insurance companies. That's the old Republican position. But they have moved so far to the right that it makes the Democrats look 'left', when they're really *not*. The only way to change this, is to force the Democrats to run to the left again in an attempt to distance themselves from the Republicans. And that can only happen if the Republican Party gets sane again.

Because, let's face it, what has the Democratic majority in the Congress done since 2006? They didn't bring back the troops from Iraq. They didn't hold Bush/Cheney accountable for their innumerable crimes. And Obama? He's continuing Bush policies, like 'indefinite detention', 'extraordinary rendition' and relying on Blackwater to do the job in Iraq.

10. SENATOR CONRAD CALLED OUT BY DEMS IN ND TOWN HALL
Real Democrats in North Dakota put the pressure on Senator Conrad over the public option! This video was taken in Center, ND on August 20th, 2009.

13. It's clear how he violates the Constitution:
The amendment (don't remember the number) that prohibits "being president while black".
