What a shame they took the microphone away from him, are there any lip readers out there who can work out what he was saying?

1. Can a Republican address ANY issue without using the word
"taxes"? That's all they know anything about.

2. Yes, when they're talking about "tort reform"
I made the mistake of watching a town hall in Wisconsin on CSPAN a couple of days ago. Let me sum it up:

RW LUNATIC #1: If we would just pass tort reform, all of our problems would be solved. We need tort reform now!

CONGRESSMAN: We already have strong tort reform in Wisconsin. I don't understand, are you trying to say it doesn't work?

RW LUNATIC #2: Forget this bill. Tort reform is the answer to all of our problems.

CONGRESSMAN: 34 states have caps on lawsuit awards. Tort reform isn't enough.

RW LUNATIC #3: Why aren't you passing tort reform!? Tort reform will save us!

lather, rinse, repeat.

Brawndo, it's got what plants crave.

3. Touché.
It's too bad it's not that simple. But that would require that we all straighten up and just be rich.

7. It helps that they have no fricken' clue what "tort reform" actually is.
That when they get ripped of or injured & are financially devastated and when they try to sue the people responsible, that even if they're allowed to sue & even if they win, their award will be arbitrarily "capped" in order to reduce the cost for the defendant when they do the same thing to someone else.

4. This reminds me of Santorum when he was still our Senator.
He was one of the strongest advocates for limiting lawsuits against medical providers. He wanted the limit to be $250,000 for pain and suffering while at the same time he and his wife were asking for $500,000
in pain and suffering from her chiropractor. The RW really does specialize in hypocracy. Well, that and not being able to tell the truth.

6. This is why repuges choose simple phrases for the mass to
repeat w/o knowing what the hell they are talking about...they don't realize that tort reform means if they are harmed by a doctor and sues him there will be a limit on the amount recieved...rather it will cover costs of future pain and suffering or care, well, who cares the limit will be the limit... HOW IS THAT SUPPOSE TO HELP ANYTHING?
