6. There's so much land in America where we can grow crops which will

be safer than what we buy at supermarkets, trucked and railroaded, and flown in from 2000 miles away.

Not to mention the carbon footprint cost of eating an orange or a tomato or an onion from one of those places.

Whatever happened to greenhouses, hothousees, and glass buildings kept at 40 at night, 70 daytimes, where we could grow millions of bushels of veggies in the winter in Maine and Northern Mighigan?

I am forwarding the link to my step daughter, an avid gardener, who picked up the "garden is poisonous and Michelle has abandoned it" from some gardening websites, who had picked up the story as if it was true. Although I tried to debunk it with her, the video shows it from the testing and the soil amendments and the fact that the garden was still there in July and I'm sure is still there as I type this. The visual is so much better than talking about it.

Wait, isn't everyone complaining that the first couple keep making public appearances eating hamburgers? Bet there are some fries sitting next to those burger too. I am all for a hamburger, and I am all for a garden, but they are both political stunts.
