I'm in LA & yes Maxine has a spine. She was @ the opening of the LA Impeachment Center in July_07 - different times. But in some ways it seems the same...

4. if you're a constituent, maybe you have the answer to this question...

I talked with one of her aides a couple of weeks ago, and was told that she was going to be in Mississippi, I think it was, for the Katrina anniversary, and speaking against the demolition of public housing.

After Kennedy's sad death, I heard no more about it.

Do you have any idea if she was there?

8. I had the honor of shaking her hand 5 yeas ago when she was Keynote speaker

at a local colleges MLK Birthday celebration. She brought down the house- even my moderate-to-right co-workers were eager to meet her afterwords.
