Jib Jab - The Star Spangled Banner

http://www.jibjab.com/originals/star_spangled
U.S. Presidents, past and present, star in our take on "The Star Spangled Banner". Watch them sing and dance to an updated, rock n' roll version of the patriotic classic - our own mini-celebration of the greatest @#$% country in the history of human civilization!

1. What is the purpose of this video?
I didn't take anything away from it except: somebody figured out how to clip a bunch of videos.

3. Oh OK
Your OP said this: "our own mini-celebration of the greatest @#$% country in the history of human civilization!"

To me this says you thought this video makes the US look bad, and that is humorous. Humor is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.

If I am wrong, and you were honestly trying to convey that the United States is the greatest country, please correct me.

4. Hey, it's just for fun fer Pete's sake!
So someone had a fun time editing some old clips. Lighten up.
It's still the most innovative version I've heard since 1969,
although I would have liked to have heard the Grateful Dead
when they sang it at Candlestick Park.

The NEW "Star-Spangled Banner"

Oh say can you see, by the Lord's Holy Light
That Liberal hanging from a sour apple tree.
These Traitors to the Family, Country and God
Shall be smote hip and thigh in Jesus' name.
Torture the Democrats, Moslems and Fags!
We'll stuff them all in body bags!
And the blood-redeemed Star-Spangled Banner shall flail
O'er the land of the White, Anglo-Saxon, Christian, Corporate, Heterosexual Male!

 :puffpiece:
