1. When does the FCC fine him for his use of such language....
Now if he had a wardrobe malfunction and shown off his pierced nipple he would be pilloried.

4. Sweet! There is no denying that he let that one slip.
It will be interesting to see how he tries to explain this one away.

6. He already explained it away. He said he meant to say "funding" and it came out "f*ck."
Edited on Mon Sep-14-09 09:30 AM by gauguin57
My friends and I have been using the word "fund" to great comic effect with each other since we heard his explanation.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/09/12/mcdonnell-drops-f-bomb-in-live-interview/

"McDonnell communications director Tucker Martin said McDonnell's remark was nothing more than a verbal flub.
"At one point Bob was speaking quickly, and in trying to say 'funding mechanism,' he stumbled and accidentally said another word," Martin said. "It was unintentional, and anyone who spends any time around Bob knows he does not use such language. It was an accident. It is that simple."

7. "Twelve funding funding mechanisms?"
Why would he have EVER meant to say that, instead of what we clearly hear him say on that tape?

He's not only a potty-mouth he's a liar.

8. He just mispoke.
Like when Rumsfeld meant to give thanks to "the heroes of 911" and it came out like "the guys who shot the plane down over Pennsylvania".
