Although I am deeply disappointed and annoyed at Pres. Obama, he really oozes intelligence and charisma that almost (!!) makes me forget my misgivings. I'm proud to have a President who not only sounds like a grownup, but like a very smart and thoughtful man.

I think if people could only sit down and talked with him, instead of screaming out "Liar" ..and be afraid of him, painting Hitler mustaches on his picture..etc, they might actually grow to like the guy. He's witty, smart, charming and so easy breezy! How can anyone not like him?

I could not have said this with the charisma, gravitas, light-heartedness and focus (perhaps "grace" would be good shorthand?) with which our President was able to say it.

Now, I wouldn't pretend to "own" every point he is getting across. Certainly not. However, a solid percentage of it is absolutely dead-on.

Further- not to repeat myself, but, again... it's about form, not content.

Correspondingly, most important is not that we listen to what he saying, but look at what he is doing...

Approach matters.

Understanding others matters.

Critical thinking matters.

And selflessness matters.
