"Let the politicians make the compromises that apparently they have to make. But that's not our job. We're not the compromisers. We're the people leading the fight, the fight for justice for all Americans." — Michael Moore calling for single-payer health care at U.S. premiere of 'Capitalism: A Love Story" in Pittsburgh.
MOORE: Well, it's great to be in Pittsburgh tonight. This will be the very first American audience to see my new film. And I am honored, honored, to be able to be here at the AFL-CIO convention to share it with you.
MARCHERS: What do we want? Single-payer! When do we want it? Now.
MOORE: Those of us who have fought for this so long, we must keep fighting that fight. Let the politicians make the compromises that apparently they have to make, but that's not our job. We're not the compromisers. We're the people leading the fight - the fight for justice for all Americans.
MOORE: We could have had this premiere of this film on Broadway New York City, we could have had it out in Hollywood, but we decided to have it here with the working people of America.

We put everything into this. And it's the culmination of twenty years of all the films I've made. This really comes together in this film tonight.
