2. new rule- teabaggers can't complain about any public service if they don't support funding for it.
simple: if you want public service and government to work, don't elect people who don't want it to succeed.

4. good idea but how about this rule :
teabaggers can't USE public service if they don't support funding it.

I always wonder if it ever occurs to people like these republicans that their decisions affect them, too.
You see, they are always out for THEIR bottom line and screw whoever else is affected by their decisions. They don't
care...
Whether it's ignoring environmental guidelines, security regulations or whatever generally sensible idea gets in the
way of their profits or ideology...like underfunding the transit system like in this clip...

The answer really seems to be : they really are THAT stupid that that never crosses their mind. That is actually the
most childish behavior on display, always ME ME ME and always wanting to have it both ways...

5. more selfish and misinformed than stupid.
the 24/7 lie machines they listen to create an alternative universe that is constructed by the corporate interests that use them as pawns. This gives them cognitive dissonance when they are faced with reality and facts that the whole core of their movement is rotten, hypocritical, selfish, short-sighted.

I was on a blog and a conservative libertarian type said he lost his small business because there was a larger corporate company that offered lower prices and he couldn't complete and he blamed himself for not being prepared enough for the competition. I suggested that it was probably not all his fault, that the playing field was skewed in favor of the corporation with lobbyist and tax breaks etc.. and he actually GOT VERY ANGRY WITH ME FOR SUGGESTING IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT! I saw it both as ignorance, libertarian propaganda, and stubborn self-reliance myths working in him. He was otherwise intelligent, but almost bi-polar on this issue. Touched a deep nerve that I still don't completely understand.

6. You're right and maybe I should have said "short-sighted" because
what I really meant was people like this kevin brady congressman. Voting against funding because it serves his ideology or whatever but never thinking about the longterm or that it even might affect HIMSELF.

Other example : a guy owns a toy factory, making lead- or whatever poisoned toys. No regulation and great profit that way. But would it ever cross that guy's mind that maybe someone in his family or maybe his OWN kids could somehow be harmed by his business decisions, too?
See what I mean?
And it is not so far fetched, first because this scenario of poisoning for profit is not uncommon and second I am sure you can find
analogies anywhere where somebody is making a killing by cutting corners.

But true, what you said about that libertarian is a whole other angle to their ideology... These brainwashed people are a corporatist's
wet dream : what's better than someone bitch-slapping himself for me screwing HIM over?!
Like you said, they choose not to live in the real world. And you'd think that someone who lost his business over this would snap out of it... but obviously this ideology is so deeply rooted and always goes unquestioned.

3. It takes somebody with the mentality of a teabagger
...to not figure out how much "socialism" the USA enjoys every day.

Cenk listed many of the ways that "socialism" exists here. I'm wondering how many of them would want to have to pay tolls for every road they use, a fee for every 911 call (police, fire, ambulance), etc., etc., etc.

Teabaggers - they're SUCH a joke.

7. Incredible!
So what do I tell my kids when they ask me why the rest of the world thinks Americans are idiots? There's just no pleasing some people. More than anything, this makes them look like they're just looking for something to complain about.

10. Hypocritical and wrong
I had the pleasure of riding the Metro on Sept. 12th, and I must say that--as we have all come to expect--the teabaggers complaints about the service are not only hypocritical but wrong.

I was afraid that the train cars were going to be overcrowded, but I was able to get a seat both times I rode the Metro that day. The the crowding I experienced was similar to what I have come to expect from people attending a football game--well, a preseason football game or not a well attended football game.

They lie and everyone takes it as if it were fact.
