I love this guy. He is the only one out there that makes any sense on economic matters.

1. You know Denninger is a Libertarian, right?
A stopped clock is right twice a day, but Libertarian "zero regulation" policy is a recipe for disaster.

Despite his political ideology.

In this video he talks about the repeal of Glass Steagal as a cause of this crisis. That tells me he isn't exactly a fundamentalist libertarian.

He is also big on punishing financial firms for cooking their books. Not exactly a full libertarian.

He also voted for Barack Obama.

3. Hence my stopped clock comment.
Have you seen his 19 (or is it 20 now?) chapter vblog on economics? I don't agree with all of it, but he does hit a few high notes.

If this is a topic of interest to you, I recommend you watch it (market-ticker site). It is worth the time and very thought provoking.

4. I read his blog everyday
Like I said, I see some libertarian leanings, however he believes in regulation and enforcement in finance, which in of itself is a conflict of true libertarianism.
