when he is a TV show host yet our own elected Dems cant say it.

I have no problems with Matthews at all.

The only one to blame for the Failure of health Care reform is the Democratic party, the Democratic elected officials, and President Obama.


They have back stabbed us. They have complete power and the public backing and still wont do the right thing. They still wont stand up and fight and take a stand.

Obama should be pulling them in the White House and telling them if they dont back his plan ( if it even was his plan or just talk to get elected ) he will have the Democratic party put another someone to run against them in their district and he ( Obama ) will go there and help raise money against them and campaign against them.

Thats how you get things done.

Never, not in the time I've watched him, has he ever made an observation or insight that hadn't already been made more eloquently and precisely by someone else.

Sure, he's genial in a "I make a lot of money, so I should talk louder" sort of way, but I stopped looking to him for thoughtful commentary.

... who can really get things done!

Y'know, Matthews- I can understand how you might take umbrage with Graysons use of the "H" word, but would you take the same umbrage with an African American referring to "slavery" when speaking of hiring practices?

... just sayin'.

I think that Grayson's constituents can get the nuances of him using that analogy--only the presstitutes are running around with their asses on fire over it, trying to drum up put-on outrage over that.

He has this look in his eye that I've only seen in republicans.
The almost snide (F-U opposition because you suck,I'm right and you're not.)look.
He has a certain thingie about him that pisses me off when I see it on the faces of the right.
I sort of understand why the right is so pissed at him..It's hard to look in the mirror for them(They've always had a problem with the truth). ;)
All this said. Grayson was a breath of fresh air. He isn't afraid to fight.
His fellow congressmen could learn a thing or two from him.
And although I hate tit for tat and I don't believe you need to become your enemy to defeat them.
This was sort of cool. :)
