Fer chrissakes, people, it's some amateur sporting events and a bunch of contracts that will benefit a few developers.
Rio is the
"top-ranked city in the world for 'violent intentional deaths.' According to officials, there were five thousand murders last year, half of them drug-gang-related." You know what the murder rate was in Chicago for 2008? 508. That's one-tenth of the rate for Rio. And Chicago has a horrible murder rate. Why doesn't Bill Bennett want to talk about this?
