2. they are shameless!!
OMG. Film an abandoned building and splice in an old man on a bed in a different building. The walls weren't even the same color. That was the worst doctored film I ever saw!

3. Wasn't Michael's reaction PRICELESS?
I have replayed that section 6 times now. Cracks me up every time.

I mean for cripes sake, there is no electric in the "hospital" except in the green room with the patients?

Bwahaha!

25. Maybe the hospital scenes were real: if the Cuban public health
system is successfull at its policy of prevention, of course hospitals would be decrepid and empty, people aren't getting sick snd they aren't going to hospitals.

If US health were aligned to prevention as opposed to US policy of "Curing" our hospitals might turn into derelect wrecks, too. Frankly I've heard of nursing homes in the US that probably reflect whatever the Hell it was that Hannity was showing.

Michael Moore is not a compelling personality, but when he's right, he's on the money. It was good to hear him tear Hannity up. It was wonderfull.

27. Could have been a CLOSED hospital...
Hannity just said it was "undercover" footage of a "real hospital." Assuming that to be true, it certainly looked like an old, closed facility to me. If those two guys laying in the beds were actually in THAT building (and who knows?), perhaps they were homeless? Does Cuba have any homeless population?

He says he'll give Michael the last word and then talks over him every time he makes a point. Their method of debate is to keep making noise no matter what is being said. I always like to hear Michael Moore, but Hannity is just a noise machine.:spank:

14. you do the progressive cause no favor by saying SS wasn't meant to be put in a lock box
Don't just be blindly saying things because you can't stand Hannity's conservatism. What Hannity said is true. SS was meant to be in a lock box and the politicians have raided it for decades to get themselves reelected. To say otherwise is to be pawn for these people in Washington who continue to spend trillions more than they collect in taxes. Wake up! We do the progressive cause no favor by looking the other way when politicians, even our allies, act in greed or stupidly. We can still have universal health care and meet other progressive goals. But first, we have to get the government to quit wasting money. I will give some examples. The Social Security Administration years ago passed rules that gave SS disability to non-English speakers if they had no skills, were at least 45 yrs old and were limited to sedentary work when they had previously worked at jobs involving higher levels of exertion. What crap. Congress did not order that, the Social Security Administration did. So over the years non-English speakers get billions in disability payments that English speakers don't because the regulations are stricter as far as the latter are concerned. Let's get real here. There are thousands of communities in the US where a person is not disadvantaged in the workforce in the slightest by being a non-English speaker. Just go to southwest Houston or El Paso. Why did the government do this? Because the SS rule-making committee lives in the land of theory, not the real world. Another example. Why does a toilet cost the Army 200 times more than it would me at Home Depot? Also, why is the Medicare reimbursement rate on certain supplies so generous and more than the going rate? I could go on and on with these examples, but it all boils down to OPM (other people's money). The government is so wasteful because it spends OPM so many of its employees don't care. That has to be changed if were are going to have enough money in the pot to fulfill our goals.

37. Social Security was to be a "pay-as-you-go" system which they've converted to ...
running a SURPLUS which served as a slush fund for wars and tax reductions for the
rich under Bush's administration -- $250 BILLION a year Surplus!

And that money is raised by overtaxing the poor and middle class for Social Security while
continuing to allow those making high salaries to live under a ceiling.

There was discussion of a "lock box" in recent years -- However it wasn't done for
obvious reasons -- INCLUDING THE FACT THAT WAR WOULD BE EXEMPT!!!

13. I am impressed with Michael's ability to "maintain".
It would take quite a bit of medication to keep me from punching that smug stingy-man smack in the nose,...

Even if I COULD maintain my cool, I would certainly have ready a bag with Mr. Stingy's mug on it.

I like how stingy-man confessed his teacher would be embarassed at how he turned out: addicted to capitalism.

16. what a ridiculous "interview"
moore should not waste his time being "interviewed" by someone who has already made up their mind, and then proceeds to just badger him about everything. Just throw lines out there and then switch to another topic before Moore, who clearly likes to take a bit of time to articulate his thoughts, has a chance to properly respond.

20. Wow! Hannity (and Fox) prove to be TOTALLY ridiculous and shameless
Sister Agnes Lucille (supposed former nun/teacher of Hannity - Sean kind of mocks his former teachers in this video) probably knew waaaaay back in the day that little Sean was a little smart-*ss, know-nothing little sh*t. She should have knocked him upside the head when she still had the chance. Little know-nothing sh*ts only grow up to be bigger sh*ts/*ssholes, as Sean proves here.

As for MM, he does a marvelous job of maintaining his composure, while a desperate Hannity (who's so 'excited' that it seems almost like he's high on speed or blow or something) keeps trying to hammer away at MM. Hannity keeps changing subjects/focus and NEVER lets MM answer the question (probably b/c Hannity is afraid that MM will actually ANSWER IT!)

MM did great. Hannity was just a douchebag.

No one hates true capitalism, we hate crony capitalism and corporatism. There has to be legitimate competition and effective regulation/safeguards.

26. i agree its like watching someone argue with a brick wall
i agree its like watching Moore argue with a brick wall.
Hannity just doesn't get it and he actually lied numerous times in this interview.

Dishonesty / Lies:

1. Hannity lied about attending mass on sunday. he then changed his story and said he went on saturday night. But mysteriously could not remember what the sermon was about, and it was only 2 days prior. so either he lied or has the worse memory on planet earth.

2. The video of the "hospital". It was obvious that they video taped an abandoned hospital and then inserted a clip of two patients in a room with differnt colored walls. Micheal exposed then very good for it too.

3. Hannity lied about the 60% tax. this is self explanatory.

and on top of these obvious lies, hannity also spoke ill of the british NHS system (healthcare).
He did what fox news always does when it comes to other countries healthcare systems, they cherry pick the worst cases they can find and blow them out of proportion.

33. When Mike told him wages hadn't gone up, he shouldn't have allowed Hannity to quickly change the
subject and ramble on about Obama. The constantly falling value of the incomes of most people is pivotal in any argument when Republicans spout their bull about the growth of the economy under their administrations. Funneling the nation's income into their own bank accounts defines the right-wing; it's who they are.

"Redistribution of wealth" is a term of execration to them, unless it's redistribution of more of the nation's income to themselves -when it is not referred to as "redistribution", but as the mythical "trickle down". NEVER "redistribution of the wealth upwards to themselves."
