5. Well, Lady Bird aside . . . this is the same Bill Moyers who didn' tlet America know that . . .
he and Pierre Salinger considered LBJ to be clinically psychotic when they were serving in the White House?

Moyers is also out of Texas . . . so he should have been well aware of the political violence connected to LBJ, his deal-making, the envelopes full of cash delivered to him as VP and President?

Where is this story-book fantasy arising from re the Johnson family?

10. well, if that was the truth, then it certainly wasn't going to be flung
in the teeth of their daughters while they were in the midst of their grief. Sheesh! Only a Philistine would seek to do that.

There is a time and place for everything and this wasn't the place.

So -- you are in favor of the Nixon-like myth making at funerals?

What I am saying is this is a criminal family which has benefited tremendously from graft and political violence in America.

In the face of that reality -- which BILL MOYERS should well know -- it seems hypocritical of him to pay homage to any part of the family.

On the other hand, in the first case, we have gotten little truth from Bill Moyers about LBJ --
and his allegiance to that family, IMO, makes him less than trust-worthy overall.
