myspace has the right to block things like youtube from its bandwidth. it has the right to set its own rules as well,
particularly since it is FREE to members.
members can then go to another service where they can get what they want if they wish, and myspace will suffer accordingly.
the only truly negative thing I saw in this little attack was the issue of spyware etc, which is certainly a valid criticism. however if the problem has been solved, continuing to nag about it is irrelevant. (btw, don't hear much about GOVERNOR Spitzer these days)
as for the corporate issue versus the start up myth, myth and legend abound in this country, as the old saying goes, when the legend and truth conflict, print the legend.
I have 2 complaints about myspace, neither of which are mentioned in this video.
first is that it is impossible to communicate problems on line, as all there response is canned. I have been to their corporate HQ in beverly hills CA and took care of the probs at the source and they were kind enough to help.
Second is the endless parade of women "friends", marketing for porn and dating services.
