8. Wait til his book comes out and the right goes into orgy.
He is going to set the record straight, he says. So how can he make the democrats responsible for

The Iraq War
The out of control gasoline and energy prices
Appointing Roberts and Alito to the supreme court
Letting people drown in New Orleans
Cutting school breakfasts
Giving the republicans and big business the biggest tax cuts ever
Outsourcing jobs overseas
AND MOST OF ALL THE ATTACK ON THE TWIN TOWERS.

OH yeah wait til it comes up and the republicans, rush, drudge Fox News etc fall on their face in ecstasy over the TRUTH.

2. Bush really wasn't that bad
Bush shred the Constitution.killed untold amounts of people for no reason. destroyed the economy.appointed John Roberts who went on to destroy our democracy.stole two elections. sat on his hands after being told about imminent terrorist attacks.denied science. What's not to like? And by the way, for eight years, every time I would bring up a Bush debacle the first response I would receive from the loons on the right would always be. But under Clinton...................
These people on faux are perverted and warped in the head.

15. Why should he? Alfred's out of office now.
At least we can be relieved knowing that. Not much more though. I'm still behind Obama all the way.

6. I'm afraid there may be truth to that she says.
People have short memories, people are downright stupid and people are desperate and it's possible that the shrub's policy of "lie and deny" felt better than the reality we are forced to look at today.

are determined to stop him from fixing it. It's how they roll, they leave a huge mess let the Democratic party take the blame, then return to do it some more. It's what they do, they've done it before. Only this time, it maybe worse than the last and faux just laugh. In some ways the President has done nothing wrong, if there weren't conservatives in th Congress that hate their own country we'd be back to easy street by now with a public optin.

13. Right, eight years of the asshole who lead us to where we are today - Stupid fucking republicans!!
Edited on Tue Jan-26-10 02:50 PM by GreenTea
All republicans have to offer is the same old shit....

1) Tax cuts for the wealthy & corporations.

2) Deregulation for corporations, meaning no oversight, no safeguards, let them run wild and then come to the American people for OUR tax dollars for corporate welfare-subsidies, handouts & bailouts.

3) Trillion dollar wars for corporations to profit on, via death & destruction.

That's it. Self-severing is all the republican have to offer, great only for the rich & the corporations.

Republicans see us only as peasants workers anyway, they couldn't care less about how we live, just getting by or not at all...

Republicans & corporations simply want to pay workers as little as possible, while keeping workers consuming and in debt, most important to republicans making sure workers have no real voice by destroying their workers unions...which is now only 8% of the countries whole working population.

To republicans, it's all about elitism - more money & power for the wealthy and their corporations - fuck the workers poor & middle class (what's left of it). Eight years of Bush finally destroyed what Republican Reagan started!

14. It should've been driven home - BUSH TO BLAME FOR CURRENT CONDITIONS!
Unfortunately this has not happened. Media owned by right wing tools. Scared of the truth. In denial about Bush's illegitimate elections. Lie, lie, lie until people believe you. Personally, I HAVE NOT heard an American say that yet. Who said that? Ingrate Ingraham?

17. Although Bush was that bad
His policies(two wars, torture, the Patriot Act, Supreme Court Justices) had minimal opposition from the Democrats in the Senate and Congress. Furthermore, there has been minimal if any departure from those policies exhibited by this administration. Therefore, to continually use him as an excuse for the abysmal state of this country is making the Democrats look like the weaklings that they apparently are - most recently dealing coming up with a milque toast health care bill that benefits the industries that are the genesis of the problem.

18. He really wasn't as bad as we thought
How could he have been? He wasn't quite as bad as Pol Pot, we know that. He wasn't even as bad as Kim Il Sung.

I would put him down as approximately as evil as Slobodan Milosevic--politically, pretty damn corrupt; economically, not overly corrupt as Milosevic only managed to embezzle a billion dollars before the UN caught up to him.

22. Bush & Co was SO bad, America (that's the USA) elected a BLACK man!
Now, you know and I know there's nothing inferior about a black man, but THEY DON'T. The GOP is so ashamed of being beaten...badly....by a black that they have lost their minds.

25. Americans have the attention span of a fruit fly. And the GOP weasn't beaten nearly bad.....
...enough for all that nonsense we had to wade through. Torture, black sites, stealing elections, a pseudo cast member of Hee-Haw in the white house, slashing financial aid for students, spying on telephone and library records of American citizens, running the economy into an iceberg and watching it sink (intentionally 'starving the beast' of big government in my opinion) Etc Etc.

And *still* more people claim to be 'conservative' than 'liberal'.
