Lao-Tzu's Tao Te Ching offers a timeless social, political, and philosophical message.

Here, the 81 verses are presented in the form of haiku.

1. Hey thanks.
I enjoyed it and I'm going to send this along to a friend who has made a lifetime study of the Tao. He's having kind of a hard time right now and I'm sure it will be well appreciated.

3. Pretty much a slam dunk.

It will cheer him up.

As for me this served as a reminder to re-read the Tao. It's one of those things like Marcus Aurelius I swore I'd read every year but it's been at least three now for the Tao. Great stuff.

4. Marcus Aurelius is top-notch
Sounds like you and I have similar tastes in reading material.

5. Marcus Aurelius is my number one all time.
Tao is right up there and like I said my friend is a great source of conversation for this as he's basically spent ten years deep into the arcane on a book with so few words.

My reading is way behind lately but if you have a list of favorites I'd definitely like to see it posted or PM'd
