Cal's Campaign is off to a fast start. He's been endorsed by the Teacher's Union, and is off to a large fundraising lead among his primary opponents: NC Secretary of State Elaine Marshall and Durham Lawyer Ken Lewis.

Cunningham has an impeccable record: Student Body President at UNC, and UNC-Law, London School of Economics, NC State Senator representing three "red" counties, and then left after one term to serve his country in Iraq.

His big issues are job creation, clean energy, improved public education, and reforming the filibuster.

We need a guy like him in the U.S. Senate.
