To the best of my knowledge, Dodd has the most aggressive plan on addressing the energy and environmental crisis as any of the current candidates. Gore thinks this is a very creative plan.

Shouldn't we be pressuring ALL the DEM candidates to take this more seriously? Our national security and our global environmental future all rest on what specific actions the DEM President takes in 2009.

I am interested in DU's collective take on this. Thank you for your response.

1. Solid thinking...

It's always been pathetic how this administration pays all this lip service to breaking our addiction to foreign oil, but then turns around and pushes the plunger on the needle in our veins harder so we suck in even more.

I been saying stuff like this for years, charging corporations that pollute the environment so we can make sure it gets cleaned up.

2. I wish the other DEM candidates

would take this seriously. It is a crisis. As we only have a few years to turn it around and avert disaster, I am amazed that the DEM candidates aren't addressing this more seriously.

I am all for a Gore run in 08... and Dodd is fastly becoming my backup plan.
