IRAQ SUMMER, AAEI: Canvassed Senator Mitch McConnell's neighborhood to distribute yard signs and contact supporters to End the War.
Sunday July 29, 2007 Update From Daniel Ritchie:
If you hadn't heard, we had an incredible event yesterday in front of Senator McConnell's house! The Capitol Police greeted us as we arrived to canvass his neighborhood with yard signs cluing us in that he was at home. As the afternoon wore on, the Capitol Police approached us again and implied that the senator wouldn't leave until we left so we stayed until 11pm, and then brought out candles to keep up the spirited vigil. Thank you to everyone who made the event so successful.

McConnell has blocked anything to do with ending the war and has proven to be as out of touch with things as Bush. Thumbs up to this group.

3. We need to send Mitch back to his beloved private sector. We will need

help from all Dems to defeat him in 2008. Come the campaign, I will be posting links to his opponents website and other groups working to rid America of the stain called Mitch.

I look forward to ousting McConnell. Also I could never believe that Lieberman won that last election. Who DIDN'T know he was a snake in the grass?

5. I never did trust Holy Joe. He seemed to hold Israel above the US.

There's nothing wrong with a person being enthralled by Israel, but Joe is being paid to represent the US.

Our local paper wrote that Mitch is vulnerable, but as yet a viable Dem hasn't thrown his hat in the ring. I would like to see either Ernesto Scorsone or Mary Lou Marzian run for Mitch's seat.
