The Republicans in Washington, D.C. today are by far the most obstructionist minority party in history. Theyve broken records on using filibusters, theyve unanimously opposed numerous bills, and they refuse to compromise on almost all issues. In spite of this, the President continues to try to extend the olive branch to these people who are actively working to make his presidency a complete failure. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks about the GOPs goal of complete Democratic failure, and why they need this to happen before November, with Rolling Stone political correspondent Tim Dickinson.

explanation right at the very end. It is a result of complete (or near complete) right wing domination of the media.

For several years I would enthusiastically participate in online petitions hoping my little signature would have an impact. Now I have come to believe it is a waste of time.

I have come to believe most everything we do politically is a waste of time until the basic unfairness of the media is corrected in some fashion.
