Ben Stein issues a call for Michael Steele to leave as head of the GOP. He's putting his money where his mouth is, by withholding his money until Steele goes.

He says putting Steele in that position in the first place was ill-advised and events to date prove his point. He seemed to indicate it was done with the intent to counter an African American President with an African American GOP leader.

Stein says, 'In a pitiful gesture of imitation, the RNC chose him to lead the party after the nation went for the first black President. The gesture made no sense at the time. The best man or woman for the job should have been selected, regardless of race...' He continues to say there was nothing in his past to indicate he earned the position.

Ben Stein does not hold back in this slightly comical, tell-it-like-it-is video.

Mr. Steele - take advice from Ben at your own risk. Most of us think you SHOULD continue as RNC chairman. You're doing SUCH a great job. I sure hope you get the executive jet you deserve. I just got a 12-year old Toyota as my transportation upgrade, and the feeling of prestige is intoxicationg!
