Reason #1 - the voice, it burns...

Reason #2 - The Story. I don't see it on Snopes, but it just doesn't ring true. Maybe it is, but I searched the each of the Internets for a tale told by a person who actually heard the saying, and all I found was the tell-tale "A friend of my brother heard..." or "My old Bible class teacher said...". If your only source is some friend of a friend, of a friend, and again, and again, to the end, you can blow it out yer ass.

Reason #3 - Even if the story is true, so what? Dingstress Jackson follows the Castro story with the old standard "And I sorta feel like this is happening in America" line of bullshit, without any examples to support her blabbery, other than the nonesensical "but I sorta feel like it!"

Fuck your feelings, they serve you no better than your common sense, which clearly malfunctioned somewhere between your final Saturday Night Live appearance and your sorta realization that your career was dead.

Actually, that sorta career death AHA! moment may have been the last rational thought you'll ever have. Too bad you treated the idea like an unloved and forgotten Tamagotchi, bringing it to death's door though virtual hunger and neglect.

She's repeating the claim that half the people don't pay taxes (Guess she's never heard of state, local, sales, Medicare, and Social Security taxes....).

Their real problem is the idea that a small portion of their money might actually go to help a minority.

The teabaggers indeed want to scrap progressive taxation, such as it is (see the Contract from America), but the '50s they apparently miss so much had an entirely different set of brackets.

A year or two back Warren Buffett and Bill Gates did a Q&A, later shown on PBS, in which a young man asked Buffett what he thought of switching to a flat tax system. Without missing a beat Buffett shot him down, pointing out that the then most recent changes in tax code has created a situation where, he, a billionaire, was already paying a lower rate than his secretary!

Her act went flat after about 20 seconds. Perhaps they should bring out another one of their A-List celebrities like Stephen Baldwin, Scott Baio or Kirk Cameron to help her out.....
