Malia Lazu of The Gathering for Social Justice explains that the Right manages to build and have relationships with their base, while Democrats and progressives struggle.

2. I would agee except
that her premise is predicated on the concept of a an actual two party political system and not a PR drama intended to maintain that illusion in the face of corporate ownership of the government.

3. I can explain the difference.
Republicanism is a cult. I'm willing to bet more than 98% of Republicans are probably Christians also.

The lady was saying what I kept saying throughout the healthcare debate. Where in the hell are the Dems? Then I noticed how many who claimed to be Dems weren't.

Too many wanted to play lets make a deal. Too many Dems wanted everything done within the first six months..meanwhile the media egged on the TEABAGGERS and kept bringing on weak or fake Dems who kept saying what the president needed to do while they weren't doing shit..

I'm watching for the next big fight.

5. That they are organized is obvious.
But then, the klan is organized. And of course there are unruly organized people all over the world. The point is, to be organized is not always a good thing for a soceity. To have a firm belief that what one says is gospel is to overlook other ways that make as much sense and would work for the good of the majority.

6. It's easy for people with simplistic ideas to relate to simple people.
Of course the fact that both parties are corporate parties, and thus care more about the voters that support corporate interest has something to do with it as well.
