Spring is here and the bikes are out. In Norway, 8/10 accidents where cars and bikes are involved, the accident is the responsibility of the car driver. I'm assuming it's similar in the US, especially in the spring after most of the bikes has been locked up for a while.

It was deemed too graphic for TV.

What do you think?

as a used to be biker and want to be again... I can attest to the reality of being a biker on the roads. Good Luck to all those out this Spring!

4. im a biker too

and over here we have long winters so when spring comes people arent used to looking out for bikes. Still, a survey made by this organization shows that car drivers almost always stops for police bikes when they are supposed to yield for traffic, but not so for regular bikes.

That does not necessarily mean that people dont give a damn, but i get the feeling that people are simply seeing past the bike sometimes. When there's a bike with police lights i guess our brain identifies it as a threat and so reacts. :)
