The spin goes way back. It's almost comical to see this. But only because it's so obvious to us now. And what's with the Twisted Sister clip? My god these guys were out of touch. In fact, wasn't it Twisted Sister who played for Swhchchchcartzenbegger's inaguration. Yes, it was.

Edit- I suppose I should be so grateful that republicans are concerned about us. Isn't it caring of them.

1. Frank makes it clear that the US was moving toward a facist theocracy in this interview
Unbelievable how clear he was about it at the time. And that lying Novak, tool of TPTB.

5. On the back of one of his more recent CDs it says:
"Register to vote, and vote. Otherwise in rare circumstances, other people may do it for you."

On the back of his FZ:OZ CD, released in 2002 by his son Dweezil.

4. This is why I love Zappa.
He saw through the Repukes bullshit idea of moving the country toward a fundamentalist dictatorship way before we did.

6. Yeah, I also saw through their bullshit clear back then.
I did vote every time. While I kept my eyes on Ronnie and his shenanigans and GHW Bush's underhanded shit, media control was transformed into the one sided mess we see now.

I think Frank would have moved to Europe by now. I'm now considering that or Canada.

7. Zappa
He has been my hero since 1971, when I saw the Flo and Eddie Mothers late show at Stony Brook.

Of all things, I like his values the most.

One of the things that strikes me as I watch this video yet again is how extremely well informed he was in slicing to ribbons the propagandistic talking points these guys brought up. He knew the facts and shows that knowledge and truth can trump talking points every time. All you need to do is expend the effort to get to the facts.

If Frank were around today, his words would have ruined this Administration maybe four years ago. It is so sad we don't have another mind like Zappa's here in America that could do this today, as our country desperately needs someone strong to fight to restore our raped and violated Constitution.

10. 'You once wrote a song called "We're Only In It For The Money"'
Edited on Sat Aug-11-07 04:01 PM by slowry
Bahahahaha. Aside from it not being a song, but an album, as Zappa pointed out, that sums up the entire show, and the entire debate: bored, powerful people, with no sense of humor whatsoever, looking for ways to tighten their stranglehold on independent thought.
