Thank God we have people like Charles Ferguson to spell this out so clearly. I often feel overwhelmed about the situation in Iraq, but I only have a strong but vague sense that simply invading was the big bad thing we did. Oh, but the 'Perfect Storm' of screw-ups didn't end there. No. Of course it didn't.
I realize I could dig all this information up myself, but I'm like a lot of other Americans, bogged down with making a living and surviving.
But unlike a lot of Americans (not including those who frequent DU), I try to keep up with what our evil regime is up to, what the Congress and Senate are doing, what path our nation is blundering down. This sort of documentary makes that a less arduous task, given that in order to dig all this information up on my own would require lots of heavy searching to get past all the Brittany, Anna Nicole and what-ser-face, oh yeah, Paris stories telling us what they are all up to on any given day while in the meantime, we are royally f*ing up another country, and condemning our troops to being blown up by the citizens of that country who don't seem to appreciate our f*ing up their country.
ugh.
Can't wait to see this and hope like hell it's a huge success.
