1. This story is horrifying
And not uncommon. On another note, isn't it sad that a guy who clearly is bright at his own job and runs a business has no skills to do anything else, or at least THINKS he doesn't have the skills?

2. I have a good job in the tec industry. If I lost it, I would loose half my income if I find another
job at all. This guy has specialized equipment, and specialized skills that don't translate into anything else. If I were him I would try to move my entire operation to the west cost and have BP foot the bill. You and I both know that BP would never do that. Also how do you move oyster beds?

this man is ruined. He could sell his boats, but who would buy them?
