At this point it doesn't look like Beck will ever be fired for hate and fear mongering or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFWOLSIhYMg|inciting violence> so if it's going to happen I guess going after the corporate owners is the best bet. They probably already had a sit down with him (or maybe the prince doesn't care and he thinks it's good for ratings).

No viewer of Fox "News" ever does a fact check. My guess is that so long as Fox pays the Saudi royal family dividends they can pretty much say whatever they want. Say things about the Prince's mother and he won't care.

No one in Saudi Arabia watches Fox either.

If he's not gone by now, why would things change tomorrow?

But we want our news commentators even those who are expressing their opinions, to speak without thought for the political or personal interests of their employers.

We don't want Keith Olbermann or Rachel Maddow or Ed Schultz to censor what they say, to make sure it won't step on the toes of the major shareholders of MSNBC.

So, it may be true that Fox will fire Beck over this, but that would be a shame. There are lots of other reasons to fire Beck -- like that he is as crazy as a loon and lies all the time.

POX is there to spread disinformation, not to sell ad space or anything else; so, it doesn't matter to them whose toes he steps on. Rupert Murdoch was probably blowing the Prince within moments of Glen sticking his foot in his mouth. As long as Beck keeps preaching his anti-Obama, pro-predatory-capatalistic, no-tax-for-the-rich message to the gullible sheeple that are willing to vote against their own best interests, he'll always have a job at Faux. No, he's staying. His audience believes that the shareholders of Newscorps are Keebler elves anyway. He's their Pied Piper leading all the dumb as rocks teabaggers to the polls to vote for lower taxes for Rupert Murdoch and all their ilk.

I must assume that a firing offense at Fuxs would be to actually tell the truth. From what I know of Beck- not likely.

They will wait for a time interval until either he screws up on something more politically palatable, his ratings don't improve or corporate sponsors don't come back and then he will be shown the door.
