BP is mounting a massive cover-up of all this that includes removing animal carcasses from beaches.

number one, they were drilling into the strata at depths far lower than admitted, almost 40,000 feet under the surface of the sea, this is almost 8 miles

it is leaking 3 to 4 MILLLION gallons day, dozens of times what BP admits to

this drilling was to tap into ABIOGENIC oil, (and this is a key)

abiogenic oil theory was discovered by the Russians, it is NOT a fossil fuel, the abiogenic oil is produced in the mantle, and is the death knell to the Peak Oil Theory

abiogenic oil is being constantly made deep in the earth, and this is the dirty little secret that the both the environmental greens AND the oil companies both will not admit, as it blows a huge hole in the scarcity argument

the Russians ALWAYS have drilled down to this depth on land, NEVER undersea

the workers and scientists (employees of BP), who normally never rebel against the corporation employing them, had for weeks leding up to this been freaking out, including an almost mutiny in the 24 hours leading up to the blow-out

normal wellhead artesian pressure when drilling is 1500 psi, the Deepwater Horizon hit a surge never seen before in human history (up to 70,000psi)

this cover-up of what they were doing (abiogenic oil extraction) is the reason that the FIRST thing Obama did (and one of the few to date) was dispatch SWAT teams to all the oil rigs

the rupture is huge, in multiple places,and......

(here is the horrible, immediate part)

massive, deadly toxic compounds are spewing up from the inner crust/outer mantle, including benzene, hydrogen sulphide, methylyne chloride, vanadium, etc

the USA EPA has measured levels of these (in the air off the US gulf coast) of over 1200 to 3400 parts per billion, depending on the chemical (0 to 60 parts per billion are safe)

these clouds of toxic compounds are already making many many sick near the coast, and will cause massive long term cancers, disease, and birth defects for decades

a hurricane anywhere near the gulf will spread these globally, and just devastate the entire Caribbean as well, as well as spreading the oil flow to the EU as well

the leak is likely unstoppable, except for (insanity here we come) a nuclear device (which will have to be slant-drilled into place, and will take months), and this has a HUGE CHANCE OF COMPLETELY BLOWING OPEN A DIRECT, MASSIVE FISSURE STRATA CHANNEL STRAIGHT FROM THE MANTLE, which could release enough oil to destroy the entire western Atlantic and Caribbean marine ecosystem, and vastly impact all the global biosphere

I have been studying and talking to several very connected professors who sit on international advisory panels, and have huge, deep contacts, they are horrified, even if I disagree with them on some political issues

BP and USA government have been utterly lying and covering up all this (especially the fact they have discovered abiogenic oil)

and i can tell you that they LIE! If their mouth is moving, LIE! If they write something, it's a LIE! If they make a facial expression, it's a LIE! They had private investigators following one of our clients, the young lady who's parents they murdered looking for ways to drag her through the mud and scare her into settling. I know b/c I was there. They followed me and other attorneys in our firm as well. They lied when they said to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, TCEQ, that they had installed a flare in the unit that blew (this flare would have prevented the explosion). They hired the state employee reviewing the permit with the lie in it and had him try to correct it. When we found the permit application hidden in 7 million docs and asked them to produce all TCEQ permit applications for the unit, they LIED again and said it did not exist. When we whipped it out and then asked for the attachment it referenced that we didn't have, they again said it didn't exist. The Judge ordered the attachment produced and a $10k a day fine until it was produced. We are still waiting for the attachment and that is one of BP's felonies they are on probation for.
