This lady does not know what she is talking about. She was making up facts and then contradicting them with more "facts" made of whole cloth.

Sarah, sweetie, when did the President say that plugging the leak was not a priority? When did he say that he knew how to fix it? I haven't heard him mention the cap and trade legislation in relation to this problem. That may do something about climate change (which, like the good corporate whore you are, is something you attempt to convince the public isn't real), but it won't clean up the Gulf. And, Sarah sweetie, I certainly want to hear your take on how we're supposed to drill offshore when the oil companies (any of them, not just BP) don't know how to clean up after themselves. In the face of this mess, I'm sure "drill, baby, drill" is going over real big with Louisiana shrimpers.

What this crisis demonstrates is that "drill, baby, drill" is not a viable option. Fossil fuel is not a viable option and hasn't been for decades. This is the time to get off fossil fuels and we must redouble our efforts to replace fossil fuels with clean, renewable sources of energy and make the pollution industry a thing of the past sooner rather than later.

And what happens to the oil and coal industries? We turn the lights out on them. Some of us might enjoy watching Tony Hayward, Bob Murray or Don Blankenship die cold, hungry, broke and alone. Not to mention political whores like Dick Cheney, Jim Inhofe and Sarah Palin who spread lies around for them. I'm tired of keeping a dead, dirty industry on life support with my tax dollars while its continued existence threatens public health, other sectors of the economy and even life on earth.

So, Sarah sweetie, go hunt a Gulf walrus with your friends.

We should follow Norway's lead on deep drilling. Canada too. From what little I understand they have much better safeguards on their wells and tighter oversight.

Also too Norway's drilling is under their own county's flag. That is a nationalistic concept I can support!

However if we insisted on those stringent regulations upfront Ms Palin would join the chorus of whiners about toooooo much government regulation.
