The video quality is pretty choppy itself; it's not your slow Internet.

The very first question was about the age of the Earth. Rand Paul declined to answer and said he's only taking "easy questions" here. PZ Myers suggested that Paul = closet creationist.

The rest of the time, Paul discussed taxes, the Parental Rights Amendment, and separation of church and state. Interestingly, regarding Arizona's illegal immigration law, he opposes "open borders and a welfare state" and delivers the usual right-wing "immigrants are draining public services line" but then stated "we're a great country because of immigrants".

3. As a Christian

As a Christian and the founder of "Christianity and the Confusion" I am deeply bothered by those who would preach politics from the pulpit. No matter how tempting it might have been, I never did that.

4. This man has no business in the Senate, much less the 21st Century.

"I'm going to pass on the age of the Earth". These people don't need homeschooling, if this is the level of science education they are going to give their kids. Child abuse via willful stupidity, not ignorance. It just makes my blood boil.
