there are a couple of spelling errors, but I like it

I for the life of me have never been so amazed at how the people here act when it comes to spelling?
Its like telling someone who just saved your life thanks for saving my life but you messed up my hair!
Some people here act like they are perfect in every way? It doesn't help you look smart by trying to make
someone look bad.

My guess is that you made this video because you thought you had compelling points to make, and you do.

But to be convincing at selling your point, people have to believe that you're smart.

This video, with all it's errors, won't convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you.

So, if you're hoping to make people think, the spelling mistakes will make a difference.

If you're looking for a pat on the back from a bunch of people who already agree with you, the spelling mistakes won't matter.

We're doomed because when someone offers constructive criticism, others can't take it in the helpful spirit in which it was offered.

it's is a contraction of "it is", its is the possessive form.

It really does.

My mind kind of balked when I saw "site" instead of "sight", and the message took second place.

If one is going to use words to make a point, it is professional and courteous to the reader to make sure that the words used are correct.

I would love to forward this to others, but am now hesitant because it looks less professional.

The video is great, but every word spelled wrong makes me cringe. The artist should have had someone spell-check it before releasing for public consumption. Words are powerful and should be treated with respect.

It's perhaps a personal failing, but when I see a post or a video or a site with repeated sloppy grammar and/or spelling, it turns me off a little....

I for the life of me cannot understand why people get all bent outta shape because someone pointed out they have blown their whole point because they misspelled something or can't use the word "too" correctly. As long as one gets the huge fucking chip off one's shoulder and realizes the person made themselves look bad by posting a simply correctable mistake and the person correcting their lazy mistake is actually HELPING the person to save face... I have no problemo. But whining about it just makes it worse. How can anyone be so lame as to not think spelling is important?
The correct response to having your mistakes corrected, especially when they are juvenile mistakes, is "thank you".

Spelling counts. It's easy enough to fix. Example: Pre-existing, not pe-existing.

You left out the disasters being called "natural" - Katrina and BP's Gulf Gusher.

I’m a retired construction worker, not a retired English teacher. I create these videos to point out hypocrisy and do a little “Lie Busting” not to show anyone how smart I am. I usually have my wife go over what I do because she's smarter than me but she wasn't available when I created this video. I missed the r in pre-existing and instead of sight I left in site. I don't mind when someone points out I spell something wrong, I appreciate it but Jesus, if I knew it would take over the conversation to the point that the message of my video would get lost I would have not only used a dictionary but I would have used my Thesaurus as well. You can bet I won't make that mistake again.

For what it's worth, I was so into what I was watching and thinking, I didn't notice any of the spelling errors.
