Heres my dads new original song about the oil spill in the gulf. Video/slideshow edited by me, drums by me (Wyatt Combs), guitar, vocals, keyboards, bass and other stuff by my dad (Max Combs). Vocals (Debbie Combs) Hope you like it...

1. This is an awesome and heart breaking work, Joanne. The music and lyrics
are great, but your slide show echoing the song brought me to tears. I couldn't finish watching toward the end with the birds on the beach.

You should send the link to Keith O. and Rachel M.

3. Not to worry!!!
"The ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and left out there," Limbaugh said. "It's natural. It's as natural as the ocean water is."

7. Heartbreaking is right. These songs need to be sung, these pictures
need to be seen. As devastating as it is, we must face it, mourn it. Art is one of the ways we do it.

8. WTF! - they keep dumping corexit
I don't get that at all. I know why they're doing it but how can anyone in a position to say so allow it?

I tell you, if Liberals, Progressives and Environmentalists (maybe one and the same - it's all in how you identify yourself) do not get in control of public policy, then these greedy sons of bitches will be our demise. Even if they cause the skyrocketing of cancer rates across the whole southern region of the US, they will still be hiding behind lawyers and evading responsibility. And with the storms that bring the rains from the south into the whole central and eastern parts of the US, this could be far worse than *just* the coast of Texas to Florida.

And everyone who has pushed for more drilling shares the blame. Because, God-Damn It!, we have the answers for using alternative energy sources and even responsible drilling. But these fucks who profit from all this but don't get their hands dirty are the ones to hold accountable for such reckless behavior and devastation. Make them swim in the middle of the mess they created - that would be justice. This may give new meaning to words, "the south will rise again" - this time against the corporate monsters who have devastated their lives.

It's hard enough to bear seeing it just in pictures. I can only imagine what it's like to wake every morning from now on to smell oil and know that you and everyone you love around you is poisoned with each breath. Just heartbreaking.
