Don't kill the messenger! The conclusions and proposed solutions may have a distinctly Libertarian bent, but the underlying facts of our fiscal crisis are presented clearly enough such that this comes recommended for a good, hard look.

1. There's another camp that is saying deflation is more likely...not sure who is
right and who is wrong. Deflation would benefit the rich people and corporations I guess....hyperinflation would screw all of us over. I just don't know what will happen, but I don't have a good feeling at all. I think it's going to be a pretty bad time, probably even worse than it is now. :(

2. Well, I live in Japan and was surprised to learn the dollar is ¥88.9
That is exceedingly low. The dollar has been in the tank for some time now, so it is looking more like the new "normal." It takes just another bad week to send it lower, however.

3. Just watched this - had to stop halfway through. Was all about killing the safety net and how other
countries are so much stronger because they let their poor people starve to death and let companies pollute and kill people all they want.

That's not anything I want for our country, personally.

Yeah the deficit is bad. Yeah we are in for tough times. Maybe we should stop being an empire - maybe that would give us enough money for butter, if we cut out the guns.

4. Outside of gasoline and health care, deflationary I would say.
Not much demand out there.
