It's July. The election is in November. The latest poll - commissioned by the right-wing Las Vegas Review Journal - show Reid leading Angle by 6 or 7 points. That is a swing of 10-12 points from the polls that showed her ahead a couple of weeks ago.
She has already peaked. It's all downhill for her from here on out. Whatever else you might think about Harry Reid, he's been in this political game for a good long time, and he and his crew are pros. Which is more than you can say about Angle and her crew.
The only good thing she has going right now, is she finally has handlers with the good sense to tell her not to take questions at her events, and who usher her out of whatever venue she is speaking at:

I've been watching politics for a long time. I'm really looking forward to this race. I want to see her totally derailed before this is all over. Trounced. Destroyed. It would be great if she ends up with, say, 23% of the total vote, namely the unsalvageable rabid right wing who would vote for a fencepost if it was labeled the "Tea Party" candidate.
Of course anything can happen. There is already an influx of money into her campaign. But Reid still has a much larger war chest, and he is the Senate Majority Leader, a very significant position. Also he has been publicizing his role in creating a new solar research compound here in Southern Nevada, that is part of the green jobs initiative. In other words, he's making sure that people know he's been bringing home the bacon. At the same time that Sharon Angle has ads out blaming Harry Reid for Nevada's woeful employment rate, one of the worst in the nation, she got on an interview and said that she did not believe that her job as a U.S. Senator included creating jobs for Nevadans.
She is a train wreck and I believe that Reid will be able to capitalize on her inexperience and weaknesses.
